Low code plugins are a great addition to the Power Platform. With their help, we can execute Power Fx code outside of canvas applications. This is particularly useful for those proficient in formula-based Power Fx who wish to utilize it elsewhere.
Low-code plugins are also valuable for organising code in more structured and efficient manner. They enable us to design specialised functions, enhancing maintainability, reusability and integration.
Additionally, low code plug-ins have the potential to alleviate processing burden from canvas applications. I have personally found, that complex applications can sometimes put significant strain on the app, impacting overall performance. With low-code plugins, we now have additional tools to address this issue.
